How to play number 49s – and win!
How to play the number 49s hot picks:
Playing, and winning, the number 49s hot picks couldn’t be easier. Here’s how:
The first thing you need to know is that each selection is calculated from the previous draw. So those of you in countries other than the UK may only be able to play the lunchtime selections.
Lunchtime selections are calculated and made available at around 5pm GMT the day before play. Teatime selections are made available at around 1pm GMT the day of play. Because the selections are calculated on the previous draw, teatime selections can not be made available any earlier, and requests for this will be ignored.
Each selection comprises of four numbers, each number being an individual bet. So all four numbers in our hot picks are four single bets.
You just place each single number, as a single bet to be drawn at normal odds of 6.5:1 or in the case of bet365 7.5:1 (best odds we have found and make these numbers much more profitable).
Obviously you won’t win every draw, this is where money management comes into play and it is up to you how you want to do this. The easy way is to use our free number 49s hot picks interactive stake calculator.
Some use the Martingale system, some use the Loss recover system, and some use the Percentage of bank system. No matter what you use, you should ensure that your chosen system of play will give you profit overall.
The only other rule we will use for this system is if you have 5 consecutive losing bets, start at bet number 1 again in your staking plan. that is to say, call it a total loss and start from the beginning with your stake amount.
This happens rarely, but it does happen!
How to play Gatekeeper & Bookie Destroyer numbers
OK, as our regular hot picks, each number in the group of five numbers is a SINGLE bet. So you will have 5 single number bets for each days selection.
Play the entire selection for lunchtime and if you win, STOP PLAYING.
If you don’t win at lunchtime, play the SAME NUMBERS at teatime.
If you still don’t win, then it was a losing day. New numbers will be published above at around 8pm GMT (refresh your browser).
How are they profitable if you lose? Well that is down to how you manage your bets. We personally use a modified martingale system, but there are other staking plans out there and we urge you to use one that you feel comfortable with and that you can follow correctly.
Remember, the martingale system can wipe out your bank fast! So think carefully before you chose this system.
Always bet with a stake of just 3% of your starting bank – no more! This is then divided over the amount of individual bets you make.
So if you start with £100, your total stake will be £3 divided over 5 balls = 60p
If you use a martingale system or a system that uses multipliers then use multiples of 3%.
REMEMBER: You can lose every penny you have gambling! Always gamble responsibly and never bet more than you can afford to lose!
